I am lucky to be extremely close to my immediate family. They are:

This
is my father, Gordon. He is a retired architect and lives in Dorset with
my Mom.
|
This
is my mother, Jane. She is a retired kindergarten teacher and lives with
my Dad.
|
This
is my sister, Polly. She runs the intranet of a top bank. She lives in
Edinburgh with her husband John and sons Robert & Max.
|
This
is my brother-in-law John. He is taking a career-break so he can stay
home this year to take care of Robert and Max.

This
is my nephew Robert James, born on September 28th 2001.

This
is my newest nephew, Max Leo born on September 16th 2003.

Dad
is a keen runner. He and I ran the London Marathon together in April 2003.
He is fantastic at DIY and particularly good at building kitchens.

Mom
and I share clothes a lot as she is in fantastic shape. She goes running
almost every day. Mom is an amazing cook and throws the best dinner parties
around.
|
Polly
is the coolest sister ever. She always has the best hair products. I "borrow"
her CD's a lot and eventually have to give them back. Polly does great
party tricks when she's drunk!

John
is great. He always makes sure there's lots of wine in the fridge when
I visit. He cooks a great vegan chili. He also changes the boys' nappies
before and after I babysit!

Robert
is a very good looking boy - the trouble is he knows it! He's always got
the ladies flocking round! He's very smart too and extremely cute.
|
Max
is the best natured baby I've ever seen. He's always smiling and gurgling
away, happy to sit on your lap and have a cuddle. He's a very chilled-out
boy!
